Kennedy Cymone's vocal versatility crosses many genres of music. As a songwriter, her vibrant lyrics compels her audience to experience life through various dimensions. Her ability to sing Gospel, Classical, Country, Jazz and R&B will make a major impact in the future of the Music Industry. In addition to being a former member of the illustrious Morgan State Choir, she is an Alumni of the well-renowned Brevard Music Center. She has performed on the Nationally Televised event, “Christmas in Washington” for President Obama along side Dianna Ross, Demi Lavato, Hugh Jackman and Janelle Monae. She has also performed background vocals for various gospel artists as Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, JJ Hairston and others.
As a former member of the Chosen Generation Choir for the First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Largo, Maryland, Kennedy has been under the direction of the Stella Award Winning Gospel Artists, Stephen Hurd and Anthony Brown.
Kennedy Cymone is currently an elementary school music teacher whose life’s goal is to be a vocal artist and open a music school that focuses on performing arts, financial literacy, business and everyday life skills.
